In 2023, CEEG successfully delivered 15 PCS Integrated Booster and Converter Substations for energy storage projects in Israel, marking the first export for this type of equipment.

The integrated PCS energy storage substations were delivered for projects serving Israel’s national power infrastructure and energy facilities. Many installations are located in desert and semi-arid regions, where high temperatures, dust, and significant temperature fluctuations place strict demands on equipment reliability and durability. The solutions were designed to ensure stable operation while meeting requirements for efficiency, operational reliability, and environmental sustainability.
Clients visited CEEG’s manufacturing facilities to review production processes, quality control, and compliance with applicable standards. Throughout the project, CEEG’s production and R&D teams worked closely to optimize technical solutions, manufacturing plans, and delivery schedules.
All units passed comprehensive factory testing and met international and industry standards. 15 integrated energy storage substations were delivered in three on-time shipments, ready for deployment. CEEG also provided operation videos, remote technical support, and training to support smooth commissioning and long-term system reliability.
Following this, the integrated PCS energy storage substation has been supplied to multiple international markets, including Germany, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, the Czech Republic, South Africa, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, etc. As a specialized and innovative solution, the product has gained growing recognition across the global energy storage sector, demonstrating its adaptability, reliability, and value in diverse grid and application scenarios.
1. Turnkey Integration:
Combines transformer, PCS, and switchgear in a factory-tested, ready-to-install unit housed in a container. No special lifting tools required.
2. Built for Harsh Environments:
Rated IP65, suitable for year-round outdoor use. Operates at -30°C to 60°C (output needs to be derated above 50°C), and maintains full capacity up to 2000 meters elevation (special customization is required above 2000 meters). Wind- and sand-resistant, salt-spray and corrosion-resistant.
3. High Reliability and Safety:
Dry-type transformers meet C2, E2, F1 classifications. Enclosure corrosion protection up to C5 level.
4. Lower Investment, Higher Return:
Streamlined design eliminates two low-voltage cabinets. Reduces the number of foundations from two to one. Installation efficiency doubled.
5. Flexible Configuration:
Supports cast resin/VPI dry-type or oil-immersed transformers. HV side voltage from 6kV to 35kV, DC side up to 1500VDC. Single-unit capacity up to 10MW.
