Integrated PCS + Step-Up Transformer Substation for ESS

Turnkey Solution
Combines transformer, PCS, and switchgear in a factory-tested, ready-to-install unit housed in a container.  Built for Harsh Environments,  high reliability and safety,  lower investment & higher return. Supports cast resin/VPI dry-type or oil-immersed transformers. HV side voltage up to 37kV (or customized), DC side up to 1500VDC, single-unit capacity up to 10MW.

Integrated PCS + Step-Up Transformer Substation for Energy Storage System 

1. Highly Integrated Design

Integrate inverter and boost converter. Improve space utilization, easy to install and deploy, and no special lifting tools required. Unique modular design with flexible power configuration.

2. Built for Harsh Environments

Rated IP65, suitable for year-round outdoor use. Operates at -30°C to 60°C (output needs to be derated above 50°C), and maintains full capacity up to 2000 meters elevation (special customization is required above 2000 meters). Wind- and sand-resistant, salt-spray and enclosure corrosion protection up to C5 level.

3. High Efficiency and Stability

Dry-type transformers meet C2, E2, F1 classifications. 

1500V system, wide DC voltage range, supports various battery types.

Battery modules connected in series, preventing battery circulating currents and effectively isolating faults.

Conversion efficiency of over 98%, dynamically optimizing performance under different loads.

4. Intelligent Collaborative Control

Equipped with digital control algorithms and monitoring modules to monitor equipment status in real-time and optimizes parameters.

Supports remote management and flexible switching between grid-connected and off-grid modes.

5. Flexible Expansion and Maintenance

Modular design supports online expansion and rapid deployment, reducing project cycle time.

Battery management interface enables collaborative control and balanced management of energy storage battery packs.

   Converts battery output from direct current (DC) to stable alternating current (AC) suitable for grid connection.

√ Low-to-High Voltage Boost

   Steps up output voltage from 0.6/1kV to 10/37kV to enable long-distance power transmission and grid integration.

√ Peak Shaving and Frequency Regulation

   Supports millisecond-level response to participate in grid peak shaving and frequency regulation, enhancing system stability.

√ Emergency Power Supply

   Automatically switches to backup power during grid outages to ensure critical loads remain operational.
