Opened on February 4, 2022, the Beijing Winter Olympics reached an unprecedented level of digitalization in the history of the Winter Games. However, computing power centers and data centers consume large amounts of electricity, creating an urgent need to increase energy efficiency, reduce electricity bills, and promote sustainability. Under such circumstances, the ultra-low energy loss performance of CEEG amorphous alloy dry-type transformers won the organizers' favor. These transformers contributed significantly to holding a green, low-carbon Olympic event.
The Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, the first Olympics hosted by China, received the highest level of national attention and preparation. The Beijing Olympic Traffic Command Center ensured top-tier traffic management during and after the games, placing great emphasis on the quality and stability of the electrical equipment it procured. The center purchased several CEEGSCB10-1600/10 epoxy dry-type transformers. These transformers not only ensured the heavy traffic flow near Olympic venues went smooth, but have been operating reliably until today. The National Olympic Sports Center Comprehensive Training Hall served as the training base for the national men's and women's tennis and wrestling teams during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. During the games, it hosted gymnastics, trampoline, and handball events, and now stands as a premier sports facility in Beijing. For this project, multiple CEEGSG10-800/10 dry-type transformers were selected, earning high praise from technical experts for their performance. The project's experts especially commended our transformers for their exceptional noise control and the use of NOMEX insulation technology.

The 29th Olympic Games Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center is a key national Olympic project built on the former site of the Beihai Shipyard. Covering a total area of 45 hectares, with 30 hectares dedicated to the Olympic events, the project had extremely stringent procurement standards, especially for power equipment like transformers. After thorough evaluation by technical experts, CEEG was selected to supply multiple YB-800/10 prefabricated unit substations and SC10-50/6 transformers.
