CEEG supplied 41 sets of wind power-specific prefabricated unit substations, valued at 14 million yuan, to what was then the world's largest single-capacity wind farm, located in Dongtai County, Jiangsu Province, China. These substations have demonstrated strong resilience to harsh environmental conditions, including high winds, extreme temperatures, and corrosive environments typical of remote wind farm locations. Equipped with high-efficiency transformers and low-loss components, they significantly enhance energy efficiency, meeting the stringent environmental compliance standards for clean energy projects. Their modular design allows for scalability and adaptation to various wind farm sizes and layouts, the advanced remote monitoring and control systems play a crucial role in managing operations, and power quality management systems seamlessly integrated with the local or national grid.
Our unit substations are also widely used in other scenarios. For example, the project team of the Wuhan Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, the world's first three-tower four-span suspension bridge with continuous main cables, adopted CEEG's underground prefabricated unit substations. The product's features, such as low noise, environmental friendliness, excellent ventilation, high reliability, and easy installation, have won the favor of clients.
