CEEG began supplying marine dry-type transformers to ABB in 2008 and became an official qualified supplier in 2012. To date, our cumulative orders with ABB amount to approximately 10 million USD. ABB is a global leader in ship electrification. We are proud to contribute to ABB’s energy distribution systems, ensuring reliable power distribution across vessels and promoting energy efficiency, operational reliability, and sustainability.
Our offerings include low voltage (1kV) marine transformers, medium voltage (6.6kV) marine transformers, and AFWF marine transformers, all certified by leading classification societies such as CCS, ABS, BV, DNVGL, LR, KR, NK, and RINA. These products are designed to withstand harsh marine conditions, featuring moisture resistance, salt spray resistance, mold resistance, rust resistance, low losses, minimal partial discharge, strong overload capacity, low noise, seismic resistance, and easy installation.
We also provide tailor-made solutions to meet specific needs. For example, one ABB purchased our 3600kVA, 3000kVA, and 1000kVA, 6.6kV medium voltage marine transformers with phase shifting for their 4000T and 5000T lifting vessels. To achieve the desired magnetization effect, the main transformer and the pre-magnetization transformer need to be connected in parallel, requiring precise control of the voltage difference between the transformers. Through the dedicated efforts of our design team, we successfully met all design specifications.
