CEEG recently completed and shipped its ZHSFT series 96-pulse (single unit 48-pulse) oil-immersed hydrogen rectifier transformer for the State Power Investment Corporation's (SPIC) green hydrogen and ammonia synthesis project in Da'an, Jilin Province.
The rectifier utilizes a 96-pulse three-phase bridge thyristor rectification system, with the core equipment consisting of a single 48-pulse oil-immersed hydrogen rectifier transformer (two units running in parallel to achieve 96-pulse operation). This innovative design integrates the functions of five transformers into one, delivering highly efficient power conversion, significantly reducing energy consumption, and enhancing energy efficiency. The design and production of this transformer require a high level of technical expertise.
Key Innovations:
Phase-Shifting Structure: A combined phase-shifting structure on both the grid and valve sides, ensuring minimal phase angle error.
High-Temperature Insulation System: Utilizes premium insulation materials to achieve designed lifespan.
Innovative Wide-Range Modulation+Rectification Structure: Adaptable to various grid and valve-side input/output requirements, ideal for hydrogen production in wind and photovoltaic power generation scenarios with fluctuating power supply.
Modular Design: Compact structure and flexible operation, supporting both 96-pulse operation with two units or 48-pulse/24-pulse operation with a single unit.
Smart Design: Integrated with an intelligent online monitoring and diagnostic system, providing real-time operational status monitoring.
The Da'an project aims to establish a 46,000Nm³/h mixed hydrogen production capacity (with 50 PEM hydrogen systems and 39 alkaline hydrogen systems), 60,000Nm³ hydrogen storage, and an 180,000-ton ammonia synthesis unit. By harnessing wind, photovoltaic power, and energy storage, the project will create a complete electricity-hydrogen-ammonia supply chain. CEEG's rectifiers efficiently stabilize and convert energy, providing reliable power for hydrogen production, thus supporting the growth of hydrogen energy as a 100% sustainable resource.
